Why do I need to support another fundraiser?
Football is an incredible game, it takes tons of practice, discipline, and teamwork to even have a chance of success. A few of the traditions that make this program special are our team dinners and away game bus rides. Most schools only support a one-way trip to away games, and require kids to find their own way home. PHS believes we travel together and take in victory or defeat together. We make sure the kids have a safe ride home and time to decompress before seeing friends and family after the game. A safe place to celebrate or console with our teammates and coaches. A few of the costs being covered by this tournament are the newly funded safety and training equipment, all team dinners, and $4,000 for all travel expenses. This annual tournament is a way to help fund the entire season of football for these young folks that work so hard. How does the golf tournament work?
The Panther Football Golf tourney is a 4 Person 9-hole scramble at Sunken Garden Municipal Golf Course. All of the proceeds go directly to the Prospect High School Football Team. A BBQ dinner from award-winning Old Greenwood BBQ is included as well as live music, raffles, and more! Scramble format with prizes for the winners, and closest to the pin! Discount for registering as a foursome, single entries are welcome.
What if I don't golf?
No problem, choose the BBQ-only option and enjoy the dinner, music, and raffles. Support Prospect Football as they make a run toward a league championship.
